187 Conditions and limit on powers
An inspector holds office on any conditions stated in—
for an appointed inspector—the inspector’s instrument of appointment; or
for a person who is an external inspector—the chief executive’s authorisation for the person to act as an inspector under this Act; or
a signed notice given to the inspector; or
The instrument of appointment, authorisation, a signed notice given to the inspector or a regulation may limit the inspector’s powers under this Act.
In this section—signed notice means a notice signed by the chief executive.
