The name of the district is Roma Magistrates Courts District.

The area of the district is the area consisting of the following—
• Bendemere Shire as shown on area map LGB14 edition 2
• Booringa Shire as shown on area map LGB18 edition 2
• Bungil Shire as shown on area map LGB24 edition 1
• Roma Town as shown on area map LGB112 edition 1
• Warroo Shire as shown on area map LGB128 edition 2.
