327F Notice of surrender
(1)
The chief executive must give notice of the surrender of a lease to the lessee and each person given notice about the proposed surrender under section 327C (either a relevant person).
(2)
The notice under subsection (1) must include all of the following—
(a)
the date of the surrender;
(b)
the effect, under section 327G, of the surrender;
(c)
if there are improvements on the lease land owned by the person receiving the notice—a statement that the person may apply to remove the improvements.
(3)
If the surrender of a lease is not registered, notice of the fact must be given to each relevant person.
