373ZK Transfer of lease affecting interest
(1)
This section applies if—
(a)
lease land is subject to an indigenous cultural interest; and
(b)
a transfer of the lease for the lease land is registered.
(2)
For this Act—
(a)
the transferee is taken to be a party to the approved agreement for the indigenous cultural interest in place of the transferor; and
(b)
the rights and responsibilities of the transferor under the approved agreement become the rights and responsibilities of the transferee.
