69 Stay of proceedings
(1)
An appeal against a decision of the Land Court affects the decision, or carrying out of the decision, only if the decision is stayed.
(2)
The Land Appeal Court may stay a decision appealed against to secure the effectiveness of the appeal.
(3)
A stay—
(a)
may be given on the conditions the Land Appeal Court considers appropriate; and
(b)
operates for the period stated by the court; and
(c)
may be revoked or amended by the court.
(4)
However, the period of a stay must not extend past the time when the Land Appeal Court decides the appeal.
