8 Subpoenas
(1)
The Land Court may summon a person as a witness and may—
(a)
require the person to produce documents in the person’s possession or power; and
(b)
examine the person; and
(c)
punish the person for not attending under the summons or for refusing to give evidence or for failing to produce the documents.
(2)
Despite subsection (1), a person is not required to give evidence that may tend to incriminate the person.
(3)
For subsection (1), a member of the court has the same powers as a Supreme Court judge has for the same matters in the Supreme Court.
