What pt 3 is about

In force

(1)

This part provides for the holding of conferences about properly made objections (an objection conference).

(2)

An objection conference’s purposes are to—

(a)

encourage the settlement of disputes about the objection by facilitating and helping the conduct of negotiations between the parties; and

(b)

promote between the parties an open exchange of information relevant to any dispute; and

(c)

give the parties information, relevant to the dispute, about the operation of this Act; and

(d)

help in the settlement of the dispute in any other way.
