140 Objection generally lapses if lapsing notice contravened

(1)

An objection lapses if the objector—

(a)

has been given a lapsing notice; and

(b)

has not, within the 28 days after the day the lapsing notice was given (the required period), given the valuer-general the outstanding information in writing.

(2)

If the objection lapses, the valuer-general is not required to consider or further consider the objection.

(3)

Subsection (1) is subject to sections 141 and 142.
