General functions and powers

In force

(1)

Subject to the Public Sector Act 2022, the valuer-general’s functions are—

(a)

to make valuations; and

(b)

to deal with objections and valuation appeals; and

(c)

to keep the valuation roll; and

(d)

any other functions required of the valuer-general under an Act.

(2)

In performing the functions, the valuer-general may do anything else necessary or convenient for the performance of the functions.
