318 Existing inappropriate conduct complaints
(1)
This section applies if, immediately before the commencement—
(a)
an existing complaint about a councillor was assessed as being about inappropriate conduct; and
(b)
a final decision dealing with the complaint had not been made.
(2)
Former chapter 6, part 2, division 6 continues to apply in relation to the existing complaint as if the provisions had not been repealed by the Local Government (Councillor Complaints) and Other Legislation Amendment Act 2018.
(3)
This section applies despite section 322.
