332A Existing vacancies in office of mayor or other councillor
(1)
This section applies if—
(a)
before the commencement, the office of a mayor or other councillor became vacant; and
(b)
on the commencement, the vacancy has not been filled.
(2)
Chapter 6, part 2, division 3 applies in relation to filling the vacancy as if the Electoral and Other Legislation (Accountability, Integrity and Other Matters) Amendment Act 2020, had not commenced.
