25 Establishment of designated areas
Each of the following areas of the marine park is established as a designated area for special management—
ex-HMAS Tobruk area;
fish trap area;
go slow area for natural and cultural resources;
go slow area for turtles and dugongs;
grey nurse shark area;
Mon Repos area;
no-anchoring area;
no-motorised vessel area;
Platypus Bay area;
seasonal shorebird closure area;
turtle protection area.
The parts of the marine park comprising each designated area are described in schedule 2.
A designated area may be in 1 or more zones.
