317ZE Amendment of tender
This section provides for the amendments that can be made to a tender in response to a call for mining lease tenders.
A proposed initial development plan or proposed mining program included in the tender may be amended at any time until, but not after, the tenderer has become the preferred tenderer for the call.
Otherwise, the tender may be amended at any time until, but not after, the closing time for the call.
However, subsection (3) does not apply if—
the tenderer is a company; and
the change is only a change of name of the tenderer; and
the tenderer’s Australian company number and Australian registered business name have not changed.
