318AAK Requirements for transferring, mortgaging or subleasing mining leases
(1)
Subsection (2) applies to restrict a transfer or mortgage of a mining lease in addition to any requirements under the Common Provisions Act.
(2)
A mining lease, or an interest in a mining lease, can not be transferred, mortgaged or subleased unless the Minister is satisfied that any approval or consent required under the relevant Aurukun agreement for the transfer, mortgage or sublease has been given.
