318EC Consequence of failure to comply with notice to lodge proposed later development plan
(1)
If a coal or oil shale mining lease holder does not comply with a requirement under section 318EB(5)(a), the lease is cancelled.
(2)
However, the cancellation does not take effect until the holder is given a notice stating that the lease has been cancelled because of the operation of subsection (1).
