830 Certificates of public notice given before commencement
(1)
This section applies if, before the commencement, an applicant for the grant of a mining lease is given a certificate of public notice under the pre-amended Act, section 252A, as in force from time to time before the commencement.
(2)
The pre-amended Act, as in force immediately before the commencement, continues to apply to the application as if the Common Provisions Act, chapter 9, part 7, division 9 had not been enacted.
(3)
In this section—
commencement means the commencement of this section.
pre-amended Act means this Act as in force before the commencement.
