319 Sampling or implanting animals
(1)
This section applies if—
(a)
the holder of an exhibited animal authority keeps a live protected, international or prohibited animal under the authority; and
(b)
the chief executive gives the holder a notice, mentioned in section 366(2) or (3), in relation to the animal.
(2)
The holder must, unless the holder has a reasonable excuse, comply with the notice within the stated period for the notice.
Maximum penalty—165 penalty units.
