129 Surrender
(1)
The holder of a plant authority may surrender the authority by giving a notice of surrender to the chief executive.
(2)
The notice of surrender must—
(a)
be given using the authority management system; or
(b)
otherwise be in writing.
(3)
A plant authority surrendered under subsection (1) stops having effect from—
(a)
the day for surrender stated in the notice; or
(b)
if paragraph (a) does not apply—the day the notice is received by the chief executive.
