Pharmacy Business Ownership Act 2024

After considering an application under section 49 and any other information or document obtained in relation to the application, the council may decide to—

grant the application; or

refuse to grant the application.

If the council decides to grant the application—

the council must give the applicant—

a notice stating the decision; and

a replacement copy of the pharmacy business licence incorporating the change of licensed premises applied for; and

the change takes effect on the day stated in the notice.

The day stated in the notice under subsection (2)(b) must be after the day the notice is given to the applicant.

If the council decides to refuse to grant the application, the council must give the applicant an information notice for the decision.
