Deciding application
32 Deciding application
If an application to renew a licence complies with section 31(2), the commissioner must, as soon as practicable, issue a new licence to the applicant.
The licence is subject to the same conditions as the licence that expired or is due to expire.
If the application does not comply with section 31(2), the commissioner must—
refuse to renew the licence; and
give the applicant an information notice about the decision.
If an endorsement was made on the licence that expired or is due to expire, the commissioner must make the endorsement on the renewed licence unless the commissioner is satisfied the licensee is no longer entitled to have the endorsement made on the licence.
Note—
For reviews of the decision, see the Queensland Building and Construction Commission Act 1991, part 7, division 3.
