Racing Act 2002

Anything done by the former control body under this Act—

continues to have effect; and

on the commencement, is taken to have been done by the all-codes board.

Without limiting subsection (1)—

a policy of the former control body in effect immediately before the commencement continues as if it were a policy of the all-codes board; and

rules of racing made by the former control body and in force immediately before the commencement continue as if they were rules of racing made by the all-codes board; and

a licence issued or taken to be issued by the former control body before the commencement and in force immediately before the commencement continues as if it had been issued by the all-codes board; and

a racing calendar prepared by the former control body for a period ending after the commencement continues as if it had been prepared by the all-codes board.
