17 Functions of commissioner
(1)
The main functions of the commissioner are—
(a)
to ensure the effective and efficient administration and operation of the commission and the performance of its functions; and
(b)
to manage the staff of the commission in accordance with the requirements of this Act and the Public Sector Act 2022.
(2)
The commissioner’s functions also include any other function given to the commissioner under this Act or another Act.
