217 Person must not possess prohibited thing at particular places
A person must not possess a prohibited thing at any of the following places unless the person has a reasonable excuse—
a licensed venue;
a place where a trial is held or to be held;
a place used for the purpose of training a licensed animal;
a kennel, stable or other place used for sheltering a licensed animal;
in or about a vehicle being, or about to be, used to transport a licensed animal;
another place where a licensed animal is located.
Maximum penalty—400 penalty units or 2 years imprisonment.
In this section—possess, a prohibited thing, means—
have custody of the thing; or
have control of it at any place, whether or not someone else has custody of it.
