166 Disqualification from membership
(1)
A person can not become, or continue as, an appointed member if the person—
(a)
is affected by bankruptcy action; or
(b)
is convicted of an offence against this Act.
(2)
For subsection (1)(a), a person is affected by bankruptcy action if the person—
(a)
is bankrupt; or
(b)
has compounded with creditors; or
(c)
has otherwise taken, or applied to take, advantage of any law about bankruptcy.
