Recreation Areas Management Act 2006

An application for internal review must be in the approved form and must be—

made to the chief executive within 28 days after the day the person is given the information notice; and

supported by enough information to enable the chief executive to decide the application.

The chief executive may extend the time for applying for the internal review.

The application does not stay the reviewable decision.

The application must not be dealt with by—

the person who made the reviewable decision; or

a person in a less senior office than the person who made the reviewable decision.

Subsection (4)—

applies despite the Acts Interpretation Act 1954, section 27A; and

does not apply to a reviewable decision made by the chief executive.
