section 2 Antarctic elector see the Commonwealth Electoral Act 1918 (Cwlth), section 246(1).sch 3 def Antarctic elector amd 2010 No. 42 s 214 schassistant returning officer means an assistant returning officer under the Electoral Act 1992, section 32.sch 3 def assistant returning officer amd 2015 No. 35 s 41(3)ballot paper means a paper—
on which is shown the issue to be submitted to the electors at a referendum; and
on which the elector is to record the elector’s vote on the issue.

beginning on the day after the writ for the referendum is issued; and
ending at 6p.m. on the polling day for the referendum.
returning officer means a returning officer under the Electoral Act 1992, section 31.sch 3 def returning officer amd 2015 No. 35 s 41(10)scrutineer means a person appointed as a scrutineer under this Act.
