176 Reporting a matter relating to the accommodation Act
(1)
This section applies if, in the course of carrying out a function or exercising a power under this Act, a public service officer becomes aware of a matter that the officer reasonably believes is a contravention of the accommodation Act.
(2)
The officer must report the matter to the chief executive officer unless—
(a)
the officer knows, or reasonably supposes, that the chief executive officer is aware of the matter; or
(b)
the officer reasonably believes the contravention is trivial.
