41 Person must not alter transactions register
(1)
A person must not remove an entry in a transactions register.Maximum penalty—200 penalty units.
(2)
If a second-hand dealer finds an error in an entry in the second-hand dealer’s transaction register, the second-hand dealer may correct the entry by making a new entry for the transaction in the transactions register.
(3)
In this section—remove includes alter, disguise, erase and make illegible or unintelligible.
