State Development and Public Works Organisation Act 1971

This section applies if the Minister proposes to make a recommendation, or the Coordinator-General proposes to make a request, under section 147 for the amendment of a declaration under section 143, for a State strategic project, to identify new land in the declaration.

The Minister or Coordinator-General must give the proponent of the State strategic project a written notice stating—

the proposed recommendation or request; and

that, under section 147, the recommendation or request may be made only if the proponent complies with subdivision 4 in relation to the land.
