Coordinator-General may refuse to receive or process application for declaration
27ABA Coordinator-General may refuse to receive or process application for declaration
This section applies if the Coordinator-General is not satisfied that an application for a declaration under section 26(1) for a coordinated project includes enough information about the project to allow the Coordinator-General to consider the matters mentioned in section 27(1)(b) to (f) or (2) for the project.
The Coordinator-General may—
refuse to receive or process the application; or
give the proponent a reasonable opportunity to give the information to the Coordinator-General before refusing to receive or process the application.
If the Coordinator-General decides to refuse to receive or process the application, the Coordinator-General must—
give the proponent written notice of the decision and the reasons for it; and
refund the application fee to the proponent.
