This section applies if, under section 56(1), the Minister directs the Coordinator-General to carry out a development investigation.

each person who is responsible for operating existing infrastructure, or who is to be responsible for operating proposed infrastructure, identified in the investigation notice;
each proponent of the resources project the subject of the development investigation;
any other person prescribed by regulation.
The affected person’s notice must—
state that, under section 56(1), the Minister has given the Coordinator-General a direction to carry out an investigation in relation to infrastructure required by, or associated with, the resources project the subject of the investigation; and
identify the land on which the resources project is located, or is proposed to be located; and
identify any existing or proposed infrastructure that, under section 56(2), the Minister has directed the Coordinator-General to include in the investigation; and
state that division 4, subdivisions 1 and 2 apply in relation to the development assessment process for a relevant planning application during the pre-plan period for the development investigation.
Subsection (5) applies if the Planning Act chief executive is aware—
a relevant planning application was made before the pre-plan period started; and
the decision maker for the application has not received an affected person’s notice under subsection (2).
