15 Interpretation for div 2
A reference in this division to a married woman includes reference to a woman who is living with a man as his wife on a bona fide domestic basis although not married to him or who is in a civil partnership with a man.
A reference (however expressed) in this division to the husband or wife of a person—
is, in the case where the person is living with another person of the opposite sex as his or her husband or wife on a bona fide domestic basis although not married to that other person, a reference to that other person; and
does not, in that case, include reference to the husband or wife (if any) to whom the person is actually married.
A reference (however expressed) in this division to the husband or wife of a person is also, in the case where the person is in a civil partnership with another person of the opposite sex, a reference to that other person.
