Lawful uses of premises protected

(1)

This section applies if, immediately before a port overlay or an amendment of a port overlay took effect, the use of premises was a lawful use of the premises in the master planned area to which the port overlay applies.

(2)

Neither the port overlay nor the amendment can—

(a)

stop the use from continuing; or

(b)

further regulate the use; or

(c)

require the use to be changed.
