57 Preventing damage to towed motor vehicles
(1)
This section applies in relation to a motor vehicle that has been towed under an operator accreditation.
(2)
The holder of the operator accreditation must ensure all reasonable precautions are taken to prevent damage to the motor vehicle while the vehicle is under the holder’s control.Maximum penalty—50 penalty units.
(3)
In this section, a reference to damage to a motor vehicle includes damage to or the loss of movable property in the vehicle.
