Eligibility for lift payment

Current

A person is eligible for a lift payment under the lift payment scheme for driving a wheelchair accessible taxi to provide a booked hire service or taxi service for an approved relevant person who is—

(a)

a relevant person mentioned in section 78, definition relevant person, paragraph (a); or

(b)

another relevant person whom the chief executive is satisfied is dependent on a wheelchair for using a taxi for the provision of the booked hire service or taxi service.
