316 Similar applications may be considered together
(1)
This section applies if—
(a)
a person’s open licence or provisional licence is suspended under both sections 266(5) and 285(5) for the same offence against the Queensland Road Rules, section 20; and
(b)
the person makes separate applications to a court for special hardship orders in relation to the suspensions.
(2)
The court may consider both applications together and must try to ensure both applications are considered together.
