Chapter 17Security for costs
673 Way security given
(1)
If the court orders the plaintiff to give security for costs, the security must be given in the form, at the time, and on any conditions the court directs.
(2)
If the court does not specify the form of security to be given—
(a)
it must be given in a form satisfactory to the registrar; and
(b)
the registrar’s approval of the form of security must be written on the order before it is issued.
(3)
The plaintiff must as soon as practicable after giving security serve on the defendant written notice of the time when, and the way, the security was given.
