11 Delegation
(1)
The senate may delegate its powers under this Act to—
(a)
an appropriately qualified member of the senate; or
(b)
an appropriately qualified committee that includes 1 or more members of the senate; or
(c)
an appropriately qualified member of the university’s staff.
(2)
However, the senate may not delegate its power—
(a)
to make an election policy; or
(b)
to adopt the university’s annual budget.
(3)
A delegation of a power under subsection (1) to the vice-chancellor may permit the subdelegation of the power to an appropriately qualified member of the university’s staff.
