35E Particular matters about removal of vice-chancellor

(1)

The senate may remove the vice-chancellor from office under section 35D despite the vice-chancellor’s terms of appointment.

(2)

If the senate removes the vice-chancellor from office under section 35D—

(a)

the removal does not affect the vice-chancellor’s right to claim compensation or other entitlements under his or her terms of appointment applying when the appointment ends; and

(b)

the vice-chancellor may only claim compensation and other entitlements under his or her terms of appointment as if—

(i)

the appointment had been ended as permitted under the terms of appointment; or

(ii)

his or her term of office had ended.
