40 Establishment of academic board
(1)
An academic board of the university is established.
(2)
The council must decide the membership of the academic board.
(3)
The academic board must—
(a)
advise the council about teaching, scholarship and research matters concerning the university; and
(b)
formulate proposals for the academic policies of the university; and
(c)
monitor the academic activities of the university’s faculties; and
(d)
promote and encourage scholarship and research at the university.
