Prohibition on contingency fees—valuation for deciding rates or other charges to be levied on land

(1)

This section applies if a registered valuer makes a valuation that is to be used to decide the rates or other charges to be levied on land.

(2)

The registered valuer must not make payment of the fee for the valuation contingent on the result of a proceeding about the correctness of the valuation.
