Table of costs
132 Table of costs
The chief executive may approve a table (table of costs) stating the costs the chief executive considers to be an appropriate guide, for the time being, for deciding whether costs are reasonable for the scheme.
The chief executive must—
publish the table of costs on the department’s website; and
keep a copy of the table of costs available for inspection by the public at the main office of the victims assistance unit during ordinary office hours on business days.
A person may, without payment of a fee, obtain a copy of the table of costs from the scheme manager.
In having regard to the table of costs, a person must give proper weight to, but is not bound by, the table.
In this section—
costs means costs for counselling services, incidental travel, medical treatment, ambulance services or obtaining a report from a counsellor or health practitioner.
