157 Deciding application for assistance etc.
(1)
For applying section 156 and chapter 3 to the application for victim assistance—
(a)
the personal offence is taken to be an act of violence; and
(b)
the person is taken to be a primary victim of the act of violence.
(2)
Deciding an application for assistance under this division is subject to division 5.
Note—
Division 5 provides for how a series of related offences must be treated.
