48 Amount of assistance
(1)
A related victim of an act of violence may be granted assistance of up to $75,000 less any funeral expense assistance granted to the victim in relation to the act.
(2)
In addition to the assistance mentioned in subsection (1), each related victim may be granted assistance of up to $500 for legal costs incurred by the victim in applying for assistance under this Act.
