153 Protection from liability for members and persons helping board perform functions
A member of the board or a person engaged to help in the performance of the board’s functions is not civilly liable for an act done, or omission made, honestly and without negligence under this Act.
If subsection (1) prevents a civil liability attaching to a member of the board or other person, the liability attaches instead to the State.
Subsection (1) does not apply to a member of the board or other person who is a prescribed person under the Public Sector Act 2022, section 267.
