19 First assessment
(1)
The coordinating practitioner for a person must assess whether or not the person is eligible for access to voluntary assisted dying.
(2)
An assessment under subsection (1) is a first assessment.
(3)
The coordinating practitioner may have regard to any relevant information about the person that has been prepared by, or at the instigation of, another registered health practitioner.
