34 Outcome of consulting assessment
(1)
If the consulting practitioner is satisfied that the person—
(a)
is eligible for access to voluntary assisted dying; and
(b)
understands the information given under section 33(1);
the consulting practitioner must assess the person as meeting the requirements of the consulting assessment.
(2)
If the consulting practitioner is not satisfied as to any matter in subsection (1), the practitioner must assess the person as not meeting the requirements of the consulting assessment.
