99ZE Meaning of material recovery facility
(1)
A material recovery facility is a facility or other place—
(a)
at which recyclable waste is sorted and prepared for recycling, whether or not the waste is also recycled at the facility or place; or
(b)
of another type prescribed by regulation as a material recovery facility.
(2)
However, a material recovery facility does not include a facility or other place prescribed by regulation to not be a material recovery facility.
