Water Plan (Burdekin Basin) 2007

If the water licence is granted or amended, the licence—

must state the purpose for which water may be taken under the licence, which must be either—

rural; or

any; and

must state at least 1 of the following for the licence—

the maximum rate for the licence;

the maximum volume of water to be stored in existing overland flow works used to take overland flow water under the licence;

the volumetric limit for the licence;

the mean annual volume for the licence; and

may state conditions under which overland flow water may be taken under the licence.

If a water licence is granted under this division, the authority it replaces stops having effect.
