42 Assessing impact of decisions
(1)
The prescribed assessment computer program’s simulation for the simulation period is used to assess consistency with the environmental flow objectives and the water allocation security objectives.
(2)
If it is not practicable to use the prescribed assessment computer program, another assessment method approved by the chief executive may be used.
(3)
The chief executive may approve an assessment method for subsection (2) only if the chief executive is satisfied the method will assess consistency with the objectives at least as accurately as the prescribed assessment computer program.
